I think the strategy has totally changed and anti-abortion activism is taking a back seat to a judicial overhaul.

There is no victory in legislation - only by changing the judiciary.

That's why you need not be so concerned with people who you think are pro-choice or wishy washy.

McCain is pro-life, but would be more likely to appoint an activist moderate judge to placate all his "friends" like teddy and chucky. Gang of 14...

Conservatives know the names of the justices they want on the Court and know that's the better strategy.

Then there's this quote placing him further left than many Democrats:

Im pro-choice. Im pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. No, I have not supported that, and I dont see my position on that changing, he responded.

I think there's a huge difference between being pro-choice and then being pro-choice in the third trimester.

kirsten powers keeps citing a poll where they asked republicans who the pro-choice candidate was. 60% didn't even know. i dont know who conducted it so i cant find it.

Could this be it?

Quote:
Only 43% of Republican and Republican-leaning voters could identify him as a pro-choice candidate in a recent Pew Research Center poll. Even those who said abortion is "very important" to them weren't aware of his stand.

My gosh, this study was published July 5th 2007. It just sounds like no one knows. People just need to start paying attention.
