Either you can't listen, can't read, or can't tell the truth. Romney was asked by Colmes who he would model himself after as President. Romney started to answer "my dad" and then Colmes finished the question. A proper transcript would be: Colmes: Who would you model yourself after as President of the United States?" Romney: My d Colmes: Who do you view as your political icon? Romney: dad. .... It is clear both from the context, from what was said, and how Anne Romney heard the question that the question was about presidents. Now, perhaps Romney had a prepared set of questions that Colmes diverged from. That wouldn't surprise me given all the softballs that Hannity is throwing. But Romney CLEARLY did not answer the question as asked. WRONG! Either you can’t listen, can’t read, or can’t tell the truth.

Colmes: Who would you model yourself after as President of the United States?”

Romney: My d

Colmes: Who do you view as your political icon?

Romney: dad. ….

Alan Colmes asked Romney "Who would you model yourself after as President of the United States? Who do you view as your political icon?" He did NOT ask which president Romney would emulate, as you (and Mrs. Romney) incorrectly suggested. See for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzADPpaWbYo (around 4:15). Not a big deal, but your error is being repeated elsewhere, so I thought you'd want to set the record straight. Hopefully you'll cut the guy some slack in the future. I suppose if they weren't biased against him, they would have not reported that he said it at all, right?
